Eliza Hall: Journaling and Collaging with Take Flight

Hello, Daisies! April brings so many things including April showers so Take Flight and let’s get journaling. I love collaging and I love stickers. There were so many stickers in the Take Flight Collection that I didn’t know what I wanted to use. I always use the left page to collage elements. It makes the journaling experience so much better and then I journaled on the right side after I decorated the page with transfer or rub on stickers.

I love rub-on transfers from the Take Flight Planner Add-On Kit and these are amazing quality. I didn’t think much about where I put them, I just placed them down around the edges of the page and the top. I always journal in the middle because it gives me space to use all the elements I want.

I love pattern paper! I used some of the pattern paper from Take Flight Planner Kit with the sticky notes to create this collage for April. Then I used the ephemera pieces to layer over the pattern paper and sticky note pieces. After I finished, I added some washi from the  Take Flight Planner Add-On Kit around the image. I mean, just look at how cute this washi is!

Then I added some labels from the Take Flight Planner Kit to layer the quote on top. After I finished placing the label, I was ready to journal. I used a TWSBI Eco fountain pen with Diamine Twilight Ink. I love the way this turned out. I had so much fun planning with the Take Flight Collection, and I know you will too! As I always note, there’s a kit for everyone. Happy Journaling!
