Hey there Daisies! It’s Kelly and today I am going to share a few projects that caught my eye in the FaceBook forum. We love to see what our members are creating with their kits so please share them! You never know you just may be chosen to be in the spotlight!
First up we have this adorable card that was created by Melissa Shultz. The touches of black make a bold statement against the beautiful watercolor hearts and tag. The kitty is adorable too! What a sweet card to send to someone letting them know that you are thinking of them.
Sherri Simonson posted this adorable spread in her Daisy Dori. The Simon stamp is just so cute and is the perfect segway to describing the weather in her Dori! One thing that I immediately noticed was Sherri’s pictures, especially the close up one with her son’s eye and stone. The embellishments and their placement lead your eye across the spread, and I adore the different fonts and letter stickers throughout.
Last, but certainly not least we have Sandi Pressley who posted this layout using the February kit and the sketch for this month.Sandi uses several beautiful patterned papers, yet still maintains the focus on her photo and journaling. I also am a sucker for a long and descriptive title.
Fantastic job ladies, and I thank you so much for letting me share your fabulous creations this month. Don’t forget to share your projects either to the gallery or our FaceBook page, and the next time you may be featured. Hope you have a wonderful day filled with creativity!

I love Sherri’s color combo, light and bright, love the mix of fonts, that she’s uses a lot of space to journal. Love the addition of the up close picture on the top left. I love so much that even though there is a lot on two full pages, it does not come across as cluttered or busy.
Catching up on this week’s blog posts….my normal Saturday morning routine. Thank you so much for featuring my layout. I love Cocoa Daisy and all the inspiration I get on your blog.
Thanks for sharing my card Kelly. I am honored to be featured with all the other great projects you shared today.
Thank you for posting my layout-I live for when my CD package arrive and can’t wait to incorporate with my pictures!
