Hello, friends!
We were spoiled with the Gather Collection to have so many wonderful inky tools including the Gratitude Stamp Set, available to new subscribers, the Gather Memory Keeping Stamp Sets, and even a stencil in the Gather Classified: Memory Keeping Kit! Our Creative Team got to work using these awesome inky items in their memory-keeping spreads.
Christine shares some awesome tips for using the Gather Memory Keeping Stamp Sets.
Traci got to work using the stencil and stamps in this cozy spread.
“When I saw the stencil in the Gather Collection, I just KNEW I had to use it to “watercolor” with ink pads!
I pulled out some coordinating inks and got to work! When it was all dry, I used the leaves from the Gratitude Stamp Set + navy ink to stamp over the watercolor leaves for a beautiful layered mixed-media effect.
I then used these two pages as the background for my spread, keeping my embellishments simple so as not to distract!
If you want to see my process, check out this video on my Instagram!”
Carol also combined the stamps and stencil for a super fun holiday paper-crafting project.
“When I opened the Gather Classified: Memory Keeping Kit, I immediately thought of using gesso with the oak leaf stencil.
I combined the stamps from the Gather Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, some acorns, and watercolor splatters to create a fun project I plan to use for a tablescape.
I’m sharing all the details in this process video to walk you through the “how-to” in case you’d like to create some of your own!”
