TN Tuesday: Documenting Your Current Favorites in the Simple Dori

Hello, Friends!

We have another edition of “TN Tuesday” to share our love of the Simple Dori Traveler NotebookWhile it is certainly possible to use this format for your monthly, weekly, or daily memory keeping, you can also create more of a mini-book style with thematic, instead of date-specific spreads. The theme could correspond with the Collection, like a garden theme Simple Dori for the Poppy Fields Collection. You could also use your Simple Dori to document your entries the Journal Challenge Prompts available each month or other creative listing challenges. Or, you could focus on documenting your favorites in your Simple Dori. We have favorite foods, drinks, books, tv shows,  and activities that could easily fill a Simple Dori notebook. Today, our Memory Keeping Team is sharing a few “TN Tuesday” designs, featuring a few of their favorite things.

When you love something so much, you just want to document it, just like Evy is doing with her SImple Dori Travelers Notebook Insert.

“Hello everyone! Today I present to you a new project in my Poppy Fields Simple Dori. I decided to dedicate this insert to a new obsession: the Bridgerton book series (and Netflix series). If you follow me on social media you will have already seen the central page with the collage of all the protagonists. In this layout, instead, I present the first page dedicated to a single character: the Duke of Hastings.
I have chosen to make very simple layouts by playing with the Cocoa Daisy stamps of the various months. I love the small dotted border under the photos and also the caption made by mixing the Poppy Fields Stamps of this month with those of the past months.
To give a little movement this time I played with the title. To create it, I mixed several alpha stickers, including the golden alphabet from the October kit! I added a couple of chipboard stickers from Poppy Fields Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, phrase stickers from the Poppy Fields Modern Memory Keeping Kit and it’s done. I’m curious to know if you also have SImple Dori or Traveler’s Notebook insert dedicated to various passions or do you proceed in monthly order? But above all, do you love the Duke of Hastings? Let me know in the comments!”
We love how Evy is utilizing her Poppy Fields Simple Dori to document a current favorite past-time. If you were reading several books or following along with several tv series, the Simple Dori is a great place to capture this information, dedicating a spread to each book or tv show.
Jil has dedicated a spread in her Simple Dori Traveler Notebook to a favorite healthy habit.
“I was eager to jump into the Tranquility Collection because I wanted a page in my notebook devoted to yoga, one of my main sources of calm.
I loved the suggestions on the Tranquility Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit Instruction Sheet, and so I incorporated the tag idea here, including the title made with the potted plant stamp from the Tranquility Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit in the middle. These stamps are so much fun to play with!
I used another on top of the stacked words on the right side of my spread. I typed my journaling on the tag, which I embellished with a bit of the pretty green ribbon included in the memory-keeping classified kit. The rub-ons in these kits are amazing, so I had to use one on each side. To move the eye around the page, I added three chipboard circles and a few glitter dots. I hope you enjoy using the Tranquility kit to document whatever fosters a peaceful mind and a grateful heart for you!
This is such a wonderful way to capture a favorite practice to reflect what was on the Simple Dori page. The small scale and accessible format of the Simple Dori invite you to document the little, but important moments like this one. You could document a health journey in your notebook, reflecting on milestones and challenges faced.
