Scrapbook inspiration using paper off cuts.

Hello lovely Daisies! It’s Kylie back with you all today and I’m sharing a fun layout that I have created using the sweet August kits.I actually had quite a few left over pieces of paper that I didn’t want to waste so I decided by using a white on white background, I could add in little pops of colour.

I downloaded a lovely cut file (from the Cut Shoppe) which was a party banner.I liked this design as it enabled me to fill my page as well as add the different shades of colour and designs.

Once I had added my colour to the banner I adhered it to my page with some foam tape. This lifted it slightly up and gave a nice overall dimension to the completed look.

Using the matching Alpha stickers I was able to add a title to my layout along the banner.

I really loved the Denim fabric patches from Pink Fresh Studios and thought they complimented my theme perfectly.

I have used two of the same photo for my layout. By tucking the second photo behind the first, also adds some overall dimension.

I have also filmed a short process video for you to see how I created my layout from start to finish.-

Thanks for stopping by today to see my layout. I hope you are all enjoying your August kits! Don’t forget to share your work in the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping Facebook group HERE. We’d love to see what you have been creating.

Chat soon,

Kylie.
