Round and round we go for this month’s sketch challenge! Suzanna here with this month’s sketch challenge! Cocoa Daisy and circles seem to be the way to go! LOL! Once again this month, circles feature in the sketch. Now, remember that it’s just a jumping off spot, you don’t have to be literal in your interpretation if you don’t want to. You could easily change those circles to something less… well, round!

Here’s the sketch;

This is my rather literal take;

Rather than two pictures, I used just one with patterned paper in place of the smaller circle picture. It’s a bright, clean look. I pondered adding some mist but opted not to given the plethora of color already there. There was no need for more “busy”.

Katherine took a bit more artistic license, using the two circles and the lines for journaling. She however didn’t use circle pictures but rather two side by side pictures within the larger circle. The smaller circle houses her title. I love the theme of the layout! I hope she has better luck at getting her children to journal on layouts than I do!

Lisa also kept the basic format of the sketch with the two circles and lined journaling with non-circular pictures as Katherine did. Her spin was to use a background of patterned paper and shift the circles to be more side by side than on a diagonal. The flow of Lisa’s layout is more horizontal while Katherine and I have more of a diagonal movement in keeping with the sketch. Lisa and her trademark yellow strike again!

And still inspired by the sketch but taking it the furthermost from it’s likeness with her right angled elements, Alissa shares the above example. Alissa has incorporated her journaling into the lower, smaller circle space with the 6×4 Day in the Life card and lots of fun bits and pieces from the July kit. I am intrigued by this pink drink!
