Hello All and happy Tuesday! Happy March and Happy Leap Year! Did you all do something awesome with your extra day this year? I went to the dentist. Boo! The good news is spring is on it’s way and I cannot wait! I even saw pink flowers on trees today, which makes me very happy!
This month’s sketch was another fun one!
I love the line of photos down the center of the page.
First up this month is Lisa.
My favorite element is the pink paint under the title, creating the title strip in the sketch. So pretty, Lisa. 🙂
Next up is Suzanna.
Suzanna stayed pretty true to the sketch with the 3 circles across the center of the page, with only one being a photo. Love it Suzanna!
Next we have Anna.
Anna used her Cuttlebug to die cut 3 circles for the 3 center elements, rather than 3 circle photos. I just love the softness of this page!
Last is me.
I included 3 photos, but left them square and added circles on top of 2 of the photo stacks.
I really love how everyone interpreted the sketch and I can’t wait to see what you all do with it.
So, if you play along with this sketch challenge, you could win a gift certificate to the Cocoa Daisy Boutique. Be sure to load your images to the Member Gallery and link us up in the comment section below for your chance to win some Daisy Cash! A random winner will be announced on here on the blog on March 17. Happy scrapping!
Can one use any previous Cocoa Daisy kit–like Feb. Or Jan. DITL kit–or is this challenge strictly for the “Brand New Day” kit?
Great question, Miriam! 🙂 Feel free to use any products you want. 🙂 I hope you enjoy this sketch! It’s such a fun one!
Alissa, love the page map. When is the deadine?
Hi Kathy! We’re glad you like the sketch. The winner will be announced on the 17th. Please have your entry in by early in the day on the 16th. 🙂 I can’t wait to see your page! 🙂
I had no idea what to do. But then I just started and this is what I came up with.
Hope I’m not too late for this challenge. It certainly challenged me to go outside my comfort zone, that’s for sure. Thank you for hosting it, Alissa!
