Comfy Cozy Sketch Inspiration

Comfy Cozy Sketch Inspiration

Hello Daisy Fans!! The design team gals and I have a GREAT sketch and some samples to share with you and inspire you this month! There is a lot of WOW factor in this month’s sketch and kits and the ladies sure did show off their kits with this sketch!

First, the sketch! The starting point for each of the designers, along with the October 2017 Memory Keeper and DITL kits.

Banners, banners and more banners! Banners to celebrate Christine’s tying the know! Banenrs to celebrate the arrival of fall (here in this part of the world)! Banners to mark a new chapter for the Memory Keepers of Cocoa Daisy! Banners galore!

Wendy wowed us with this lovely creation that uses the 6×6 squares from the DITL kit instead of banners and loves of succulents to adorn this page of her sneaky little fellow!

A bit more of a whimsical approach from Lisa with three photos and banners that she has drawn attention to with faux handstitching! It wouldn’t be a Lisa layout without that signature pop of yellow!

Wow! Look at all the banners in Katherine’s layout!! Stunning, just stunning! Katherine used the stamp set to stamp a column of adorable little hearts down the length of one of her banners!

Alissa used the sketch and drew it in tight with lots and lots of paper layers instead of banners for her lovely creation! Alissa also used the ribbon and wood veneer pieces from the kits on her creation!

I have to be honest and say my layout isn’t “pretty”; feet in general aren’t pretty and broken toes are even worse. But, it’s a fun play on words for the title, don’t you think?

And, as always, I have a process video showing you how this sketch inspired me to create this layout.

I hope the sketch inspires you and inspires you to dive into your October Comfy Cozy kits and start documenting some of those wonderful comfy cosy memories that fall is so full of! Thanks for joining us today!

Well done. I love how you made it work, even though it was tougher this time around.
