Hello, friends!
We are a few days into September, so let’s talk monthly planner pages. Having a monthly overview is a great place to see everything that is coming up, who is having a birthday, and when you have open time in your schedule. It is also a great place to document what has happened each day, to assist you with your memory keeping. With a little decoration, you are bound to come back to these pages throughout the month. Today, our Creative Team shares their monthly pages that are sure to spark creativity and motivate you to get your plans down on paper.
Jennifer is keeping it fun and functional on her monthly pages.
“My “on the go” planning system always includes a monthly insert to use for forward planning. It’s a simple insert with no decoration. This month, I loved adding washi and stickers from the Doodles & Dashes Collection to make my spreads more appealing, but still functional.
I started planning by adding some washi to cover the August dates and then added the days of the week stickers from the Doodles and Dashes Planner Add-On Kit.
I used several stickers from the sticker sheet in the Doodles and Dashes Planner Kit, including the date flags to mark off birthdays in the notes column along with the September sticker to mark the month.
I finished up by marking off on-call days with either washi stickers or actual washi rolls. I also used the hexagon tracker stamp from the Peach Ridge Classified Planner Kit to fill the large space that I thought would be perfect for tracking a habit this month.”
Kylie is ready for the month of September in her gorgeous planner.
“I like to keep my monthly Doodles and Dashes A5 inserts right at the front of my planner. It kind of acts like an intro to the month ahead.
Since I keep the bulk of my detailed planning in my weekly inserts, I use the monthly pages more as a bullet format. I use a lot of the icon stickers to mark points or reminders. The payday stickers are from the small sticker sheet in the Doodles and Dashes Planner Add-On Kit, whilst the recycle icon is from the Doodles and Dashes Planner Kit. I can also refer to my monthly pages when planning out my weekly inserts.
I love the puffy alpha stickers from the Doodles and Dashes Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I have used these to mark out the end of the school term we have ahead.
The ruled box stamp from the Planner Add-On Kit fits perfectly into the monthly squares. I use it to document any upcoming bills or reminders for the month. From a decorative perspective, I’ve used some of the rub-ons and puffy floral stickers from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit to add some extra florals and some dimension to my pages since it is Spring here in Australia.”
Evy is settling into her new ring-bound setup quite nicely, don’t you think?
