Hello, it’s Lisa with a fun challenge for you today.
As we are coming towards the end of 2016, I thought it would be fun to look back and pick a favourite moment and document it. It could be something simple, a fun memory, something that some one said to you, a celebration or a fun family day out. It’s just fun to look back and record that moment.
You can use any materials, it doesn’t have to be a Cocoa Daisy Kit and it can be documented in any form you choose….scrapbook style, pocket pages, dori etc… It’s your choice. This challenge is about documenting a favourite moment.
I used my December Kit to document the moment that we saw the White House this Easter. I loved the paper with all the pretty buildings on, from the paper addon. I thought they were perfect for my page representing all the beautiful buildings that we saw in DC.
I used the frames from the Main Kit, but backed them by cutting up the clear glassine envelopes from the kit and the DITL Kit. I then stuck my photos to this. I love that you get a frosted view of the buildings through the glassine bag paper.
I have some wonderful samples and memories of other members of the Design Team to share with you too.
Sarah’s happy memory is so heart warming. What a special way to save those beautiful photos. Those soft colours are perfect and I love the circles with the heart centres.
We also have a December Daily page from Suz. This is a sweet page. I really like how Suz typed on one of her DITL cards and also used the sofa stamp with the ‘Deep Couch Sitting’ stamp as a background stamp. What a great idea!!
And finally we have this from Janet. Janet has worked on a page in her Dori. I love how she documented this. It’s so eye catching. The use of the scalloped paper!!
So these are our best moments……now it’s your turn.
Please document your best bits from 2016 and share with us. You have 2 weeks to play. This challenge closes on 3rd January – 11pm EST and the winner will be announced on the 5th January. The winner will receive a $10 coupon to spend in the Daisy Store.
Please add a link to your happy memories here or on our Message Board here. Thank you.
