It’s been a while since I made a mini book. It’s one of those projects where I have to be in the mood and the right frame of mind. But once I start and then have finished, I’m always so pleased that I’ve decided to create one. If you would like to watch this mini book being made, you can watch the video here.
I like my mini books to have lots of layers. This is such a great way to use up scraps. Apart from the March journal card there on the front, the rest is from the February Kit. My remainders anyway. There’s practically nothing left now.
I’ve used the papers and the DITL cards to create lots of pages.
And I’ve taken the string from the DITL Kit bag to hold the book together by punching out a couple of holes in the centre .
The DITL cards are turned in to pages, so you can see both sides. This has been done by sticking washi tape at one side of the card, front and back.
And I’ve used one of the glassine envelopes from the kit at the back too to use as a pocket.
This book has taken me just 1- 1.5hrs to make from start to finish and it’s been so much fun.
I hope you enjoy the video.
Thank you for joining me here today.
