Hello it’s Lisa with a new blog feature for you today.
We are going to be taking something from the kit each month which may be a little challenge for you.
For me personally, this is one of the reasons why I love receiving a monthly kit. I like being sent something that I may not have picked out myself. I like receiving items that on first glance make me think ”’eeerrrmmm how I am going to use that?”. So that’s what this post is all about.
So today, I have taken out these golden leaves from the kit. I also got some of these in my Pocket Kit. They are really thin and made from vellum. They also come in a pack with this wooden ‘Hello Fall’ piece.
I was instantly drawn to the colour. I decided to pop some bright golden/yellow paint behind to add a good strong background colour. I think this is my favourite colour right now.
I then used the tags from the kit to place behind my photos and built everything else up and around.
I layered the golden leaves, making sure I overlapped the leaves over the photos too. I added some of the stickers from the Classified kit. The layering really pulls it all together.
I laid the wooden ‘hello fall’ over one of the larger leaves to create my title and I also added some of the chipboard stickers.
I finished the LO by dotting a few of the smaller leaves around the outside.
This LO makes me feel so happy and it’s purely inspired by the beautiful golden leaves.
