Welcome to the blog this morning Cocoa Daisy fans! Wendy here today to share what inspired me to create from the new March kits that just went live. There are many things that can spark the mojo – a picture, a story waiting to be told, a magazine/billboard, and the list goes on… Today I was inspired by the papers included in the kit and from there I built a page around a photo that fit the ideas/theme I was running with.
So what paper started this page? It was the paper by Shimelle, Encourage Wonder.
I love all those words and the ones in the center nestled my picture so well that I decided to put them on my paper just as they were designed. You can see I added a few little embellishments to spice up the words, but basically the words were the focus of the layout.
I also LOVE all frames, so when I saw the Maggie Holmes paper with the frames I began to fussy cut them all out! I have a little container now with words, frames, and then the beautiful flowers from another paper included in the kits, ready to grab whenever I might need a special touch.
Talking about special touches, I am loving those cute frogs! What about you, what is inspiring you from the kit this month? Have you tried making a page starting with that inspiration? I hope you take some time to create with what you love, it will make you “toadily” happy!
