Hello everyone!!! I’m thrilled to have chosen as April guest design! I’m so excited to have this opportunity!!!!
My name is Maria and I’m 43 years old. I live in Barcelona, in a little apartment with my cute cat Mimí. I’m musician, I’m singer and piano player. I’ve been playing piano since I was eight. Nowadays I’m music teacher in a school in Barcelona.
I discovered scrap 8 years ago and now I can affirm: I’m scrapalcoholic!!!!! In fact, I like to spend as much time as I have, with my papers, stamps, inks, etc!!! My favorite projects are LO and mini albums and lately I enjoy decorating my Planner too!!!
I love working with bright colors and mixing different techniques, lots of inks, watercolors, medium,… I enjoy discovering new products. Besides, I love writting in my blog, where you can find lots of scrapbooking…and recently opened my youtube channel!
1. When is your most creative time?
I like to steal hours of sleep so I can scrap even more, although on weekends I always find the time.
2. How do you unwind?
I like to go out for a walk and grab a coffee without watching the clock, listening to music and getting my hands into a good book with my cat Mimi on my legs.
3. If you were in a Rock N’ Roll band, what would your job be?
I guess I would probably be at the musical keyboard, that’s my thing!
4. What is your guilty pleasure?
Ice cream, especially tiramisu, I could have it all year though
5. If your life was a movie, what actress would play you?
I would love to play Meryl Streep, she’s versatile and has really interesting roles.
6. What’s your favorite accessory?
My earrings, they’re my favourite accessory, I never go out without them. I love to match them with my clothes.
7. If your life were a novel, what would the title be?
It would probably be something similar to my blog, Maria and my favourite things, all packed with the things I love most.
8. What was your first job and how did you get it?
I used to work in a decoration shop, I even got to decorate the windows!
9. Share three of your bucket list items with us.
Travel to Japan, visit New York again and get a tattoo.
10. What is “dressed up” for you?
I don’t like to dress up much, the day I get to dress more nicely, it’s skirt and shoes, I spend time getting my curls in order and some eyeliner and I’m done.
