We are thrilled to welcome Brandi Kincaid to Cocoa Daisy for the month of February. We asked our subscribers who they wanted to see work with our kits and Brandi’s name came up, I’m so glad it did because she’s been a delight to work with this month! 1. When is your most creative time?
Early in the morning (I am very much an early bird, as long as there’s coffee.)
2. How do you unwind?
A good book, a walk around our little downtown neighborhood, sorting through my treasures (mostly miniatures and scraps of paper), or an episode of my beloved “Murder, She Wrote”.
3. If you were in a Rock N’ Roll band, what would your job be?
I want to say that I’d be a guitarist, but really, I think I’d be a songwriter in the background.
4. What is your guilty pleasure?
I feel less and less guilty about pleasures every year, but I’d say that a handful of champagne flavored gummy bears while crafting is pretty heavenly.
5. If your life was a movie, what actress would play you?
If age weren’t an issue, I’d say Angela Lansbury or Meryl Streep.
6. What’s your favorite accessory?
I have two – a chunky hand knit scarf, and the ring I wear with my word for the year.
7. If your life were a novel, what would the title be?
Carvings in Sand and Stone: A Life in Process
8. What was your first job and how did you get it?
I worked at a Hallmark store through high school and early college, which I got after spending all my birthday money on greeting cards and finding the guts (this still surprises me) to ask if they were hiring so that I could buy more cards.
9. Share three of your bucket list items with us.
Publish a book (or two, or three), be interviewed on NPR, spend some time in Kansas (my bucket list is often practical, but I like it that way).
10. What is “dressed up” for you?
Lipsmackers® in bubble gum scent, and a spritz of my special perfume.
