Hi lovely people!
It’s Rachel here, and I’m all set for September with my planner line up using the Solstice collection. I’m using a vertical Plum Paper, a Hobonichi A6 Techo and my usual personal rings. All have their own purpose, and I talk a little more about this in my video over on YouTube.
First up is the vertical Plum Paper – this is where I plan out all the timed appointments and day specific things. It’s the big overview of everything that’s going on. I used some of the washi tape from the ‘Pocket Memory Keeping Kit’, along with some of the ‘Daisy Weeks (Calendar) Sticker Kit’ and other stickers from the collection to brighten up the monthly view.
I also decided to plan ahead a little this month – the top section is for appointments, and the longer section is for recording any thoughts/ key events of the day. I’ve been tracking my mood for the past few years, as part of managing my recovery from depression, and so I made myself some stickers to match – I love how they turned out!
My personal rings are my daily go to – I use them mostly for mapping out work projects, tracking and for daily planning. I love decorating the front pocket a little, and this month, I decided to focus on all the stars, whilst keeping it (slightly!) functional with the month at a glance card from the ‘Pocket Memory Keeping Kit’.
I also printed out some of the free printables that are available every month, and this quote just jumped out at me. The vellum and acetate are actually from the Back Porch collection from September 2018, and they blend in so well!
For my page marker this month, I used the calendar bookmark from the main planner kit – with the addition of some diets and stars, it’s the perfect blend of function and pretty!
I decided that I would continue to keep my gratitude lists in my A6 Hobonichi, having tried using the striped week on one page last month. I love the idea of having a whole year in one place, and it’s been fun to decorate with leftover stickers, washi, and use some of the pocket memory keeping cards and acetate as well.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at my planner line up for September – for more in depth info, grab a brew and head on over to Youtube!
Until next time lovely people, take care, and enjoy your planning!
