Hi lovely people!
It’s Rachel here, and if you’ve come across my social media before, you’ll know that I LOVE colour. So the August kit ‘Backyard Blooms‘ is absolutely perfect for me, and I’ve loved getting ready for the new month.
As usual, I’m using a personal ring planner for this month, and this is Spice Peppercorn from Foxy Fix (a now discontinued leather). With so many colours in the kit though, I can see I will be swapping part way through the month to enjoy as many planners as possible!
I’ve kept my usual sections in my planner – Inbox, Month at a Glance, Current Month, Goals & Projects, Trackers, Forward Planning and Notes. I’ve been debating where to write down my daily gratitude as I’ve found I’m not using the Hobonichi A6 as much anymore – simply because it’s another journal to reach for. So, I’ve added the 1000 Gifts challenge from Ann Voskamp into my rings to see if that spurs me on – I may also write some things into my B6 Dori which I use as a journal too.
I love the tab stickers included in the Classified: Planner Edition this month, and have used them in a few places throughout my planner. My main spot for them is to separate out the weeks in my ‘this month’ section.
I have also moved into a Plum Paper Planner (vertical layout) and so I added some Cocoa Daisy colour to this too! I used the Dashboard Kit, Washi and lots of stickers, including the Calendar Daisy Weeks Stickers.
You can also take a look at my flip through video over on Youtube for more details of my set up – hope you enjoy!
Until next time lovely people, take care, and enjoy your planning!
