Up and Away! April Planner Set Up & Video

Hi lovely people!

It’s Rachel here, and I’m sharing my April planner set up with you today using Up and Away. Unusually for me, I’m not using personal rings, but a personal Traveler’s Notebook from Foxy Fix.

Inside, I have three inserts. The first one is my Daisy Dori for April – I used some of the puffy alphas from the Pocket Memory Keeping Kit, enamel dots and that AMAZING striped paper to decorate the cover. This is my journal/ memory keeping, with space for each day plus lots of other pages too – I love how much space is in these!

As I did in March, I took apart and rearranged the pages slightly before stitching them back together. This gives me a more continuous section for my daily journaling, with memory keeping pages at either end of the dori.

I split the grid and dot grid pages into 3 sections – and use each one running horizontally across the page for one day. I also like to add journal cards and stickers as the month goes on!

My second insert is the Cocoa Daisy Weeks booklet for Q2 – this covers April, May and June (anyone else VERY intrigued by June?!) I love to include the gorgeous pocket cards and have some quotes in between inserts and dashboards.

The first double spread of the Daisy Weeks booklet is plain dot grid – I added some stickers and checklists to create a space to write my goals for the next few months.

I actually got out the stamps this month – it’s a rare event when that happens as I find it challenging even with all the help and tips from amazing people out there! But – there’s no mistake that a sticker here or there can’t fix, and I love this font for the numbers.

The weekly pages is where it gets interesting…I tipped in the week on one page from the personal ring inserts, since I had them anyway, and I’m going to use these for any key things happening in the week, with a checklist section on the back.

Then, on the daily sections, I have space to jot down the top things that need to happen that day, plus social media reminders. I’m hoping it will be enough room – but I still have one more insert in the TN where I can write longer lists if I need to.

I’ve found that a pencil board is really helpful for popping under the page when I’m writing, as with all the stickers and diecuts I love to use, the pages can get a little bumpy. I made this one with a dashboard plus some stickers and of course, washi tape on the back!

How gorgeous is this?! It’s not secret that I LOVE rainbows, and this just makes my heart happy!

My final insert is a plain dot grid notebook, which I covered with some more of that amazing striped paper. I then have a petal vinyl dashboard insert from FoxyFix which is holding a notepad and sticky notes, as well as the pen loop from the planner kit.

I hope you enjoyed looking through my April set up – it’s fun to try a new format! If you’d like to take a closer look, you can find a full flipthrough video on my YouTube channel too.

Until next time lovely people, enjoy your planning!
