Memory Keeping with Nordic Woods

Greetings!

We are highlighting design team member stories today with Candy and Traci. Traci is using the Nordic Woods memory keeping kits and Candy is featuring the bonus printable. In addition, Candy is sharing some things about herself and life in Shanghai China.

Let’s begin with a look at Traci’s lovely design featuring the blue tones in the kits. “When I saw how beautiful the blues in the Nordic Woods kit were, I just knew I had to create an all blue spread! I accented the beautiful royal blue tones with the icy teal to really evoke the snowy feel of my photos!”

Traci’s design is full of little details that accentuate her adorable photos and story. Now, I’d like to introduce our Cocoa Daisy friends to Candy Tan. Candy is a returning design team member and is sharing a bit about herself with us today in addition to her sweet layout.

“I’m Candy and I am currently based in Shanghai, China. I was born in Manila, Philippines but lived and grew up in Los Angeles, California for about 10 years before moving back to Manila to finish school and live until a job opportunity to teach English in Shanghai came to me.

I am a huge introvert and find pleasure in staying in, crafting, scrapbooking, reading, watching movies or tv series, and occasionally going to the park or cafe. One of my goals is to document my entire life in Shanghai as I will have lived here 10 years in August 2020. I only started scrapbooking at the beginning of this year so I have lots to catch up on.

Another big part of me is that I am single and a caregiver to my retired and aging parents. I also have a brother with special needs who has a set of his own problems. Being a caregiver comes with it’s ups and downs and is never easy but my faith gets me through. Also, Bible journaling, scrapbooking, and crafting has been very therapeutic in some way.”

“A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of going to the annual German Christmas Market and it was so much fun. We don’t get a lot of Christmas here in Shanghai, China so it was really nice. I used this month’s printable to document our night there and to journal out some of my favorite holiday traditions and things. I love all the gorgeous elements that came in the printable and made documenting this page so easy.  I wish you all a very merry holidays!”

Candy created her entire design with the Nordic Woods bonus printable. We love the soft and cozy feel, it’s simple and oh so sweet!

Thanks for joining us today and have a wonderful week.
