Happy December! I can’t believe the holidays are upon us and that New Year’s will be here before we know it! I have been working on my December planners and am here to share the dashboards I made for my pocket TN. This is a new size to me and I’m really enjoying it so far. Creating the dashboards was a lot of fun! Here’s what I did.
This first dashboard was made using the vellum from the kit. It houses my Mini Daisy Dori. I cut the DECEMBER graphic from one of the personal sized dashboards and added it onto the cover with a doily. I love doilies any time of the year, but they are especially fun in December.
I added the die cut tree and greens with some foam adhesive to give it more dimension. Then, I finished it off with some vintage ric rac. I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen and added glitter to the die cuts. It looks so sparkly in real life, but is somewhat hard to see in the pictures.
This next photo shows the inside cover of the insert. I added a pocket and tucked the December calendar card inside of it. I love having this little calendar to use when I need it. It looks pretty on the front side, peeking through, as well.
My next cover is for my fitness insert. I used the folded paper from the kit and trimmed it to fit. The two little gnomes were from the ‘Nordic Woods’ card that came with the kit. I love using packaging and other materials along with the kit contents. A doily and more die cuts were added to the front of this one. Again, I used foam adhesive. I think it really gives it a great look. I decided to use the dot stickers to cover up the letters ‘weekend’ on the banner. A double row of trim finishes off this one.
My last cover is for my budgeting insert. Again, I used one of the folded papers. I added a Pocket card and layered a doily onto it. Then, I adhered the die cuts and stickers to it. I used more glitter glue and finished this one off with some pom pom trim.
I loved using the greenery stickers that came in the Classified kit. I think I’ve used them all up. Here, I chose the arched one to follow the lines of the doily.
Making these inserts was a lot of fun. I love seeing them as I flip through my Pocket planner. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!
