Today we are introducing new memory keeping design team member, Ellie Augustine. She is sharing two designs with the Nordic Woods kits along with some bits about herself.
“My name is Ellie Augustin. I’m a wife and mom of 4 (boys ages:21,16) girls (ages:12,6)
My guilty pleasure is watching Bollywood movies! (I am a master subtitle reader! ha) plus iced lattes, no matter the weather!
As you can imagine, life is never dull around here. I love that in the busy of it all, we get to gather and sit and have the opportunity to relax and be thankful for everything.
I wanted to share with you how I documented the start of November. It is my favorite month for two reasons. It’s my birthday AND a month of togetherness and gratitude. One tip from my almost ten years of documenting is to keep it simple. All you need is a picture with a few simple words that tell the story.
I challenged myself to document things I have been thankful so far this month, starting with my 44th birthday. The die cuts always have pieces you can use for any theme. I was so pleased with the flexibility of Nordic Woods, which at first glance, seemed to be a winter-themed kit.
I Iove the little label stickers for adding journaling. It helps me remember the story.
I hope I have inspired you to look at your kits in a whole new light, not feeling limited to what you think you can use them for.
