Hello Cocoa Daisy fans,
Today we are spotlighting design team member Rachel Newman who specializes in the Happy Planner memory keeping edition. Rachel is also a member of the planner team and you may have seen some of her planner posts here on the blog. So without further ado, let’s have a look at what Rachel is sharing with us today.
“Hi, Everybody! I am so excited to be on the Memory Keeping Creative Team! I will be using the Big/Letter Size Happy Planner to document my weekly happenings, big and small. As a long time “planner girl”, journal keeper and lover of paper crafting, I think this format is the perfect way to document life because it is easy to keep up with!
The project theme for today’s post is Hexagons! I knew exactly how I would use them for this weekly spread.”
“I didn’t have many photos at the beginning of the week, so I punched a few hexagons from the kit papers (and the MK Sticker Kit) to fill the beginning of the week. I love all the vibrant colors together – definitely matches my eclectic documenting style. This is a great tip for those weeks you just don’t have much going on. Just an excuse to fill the page with pretty decoration!”
“One of my favorite things to do is travel. I love to explore new places, meet new people, try new things and just make memories! During this weekend, my husband and I traveled to California for a work trip.”
“Documenting this trip was easy with the MK Sticker Kit. The alpha stickers, word strips, arrows, and decorative elements meant I had everything I needed to document this trip. I still have plenty leftover to document another few weeks, too!”
“Too many photos? Add a flip up element! No photos from the restaurant you went to? Add their business card instead!”
We love the way Rachel used the Memphis Season kits in her Happy Planner. It’s super fun to see how our design team members and our customers use planner kit items in the memory keeping and memory keeping items in their planners. We truly enjoying seeing your creations in our Facebook groups and on your Instagram feeds. Speaking of which, please follow Rachel on Instagram @thelifefacilitator.
Until next time!
XO,
Robin
