Hello Cocoa Daisy friends,
Welcome to the second half of November and TN Tuesday! Starting today and throughout the remainder of November as well as the month of December, we are getting to know each member of the Memory Keeping design team. We will be sharing lots of designs as well of course! Today, we are spotlighting Evy Schmidtke and her love of stamping. She is sharing a darling design with the Memphis Season kits and a past stamp set.
“Stamps can be very useful in your December projects. In this layout I simply want to show you how I created the title with an alphabet stamp. I mixed the stamp of a few months ago, from the Fresh Cut Planner kit with stamps from the Memphis Season kits to give an uneven effect and movement. I always start by stamping the title and then continue with the outline until I am satisfied with the result. I’m not a rule girl, I go a lot based on the day and time I have available.”
“For this reason, the alphabet stamps are my favorite. They quickly solve the problem of the title and the color because you can use what you prefer! I often use black because my photos and backgrounds are usually very colorful and with black the options are endless. To finish this layout, I added just a few die cuts and a colored pen for the caption. I also used a date stamp to finish off the design. Isn’t it easy and fast? I would love to know if you are passionate about stamps and how you use them!”
About Evy: Evy is a returning member of the memory keeping design team. She currently lives in a small village about one hour from Venice, Italy and shares a home with her fantastic husband and two dogs. Evy is a shop assistant and in her spare time loves to walk with her dogs, run, take pictures, read books and watch TV series. Her absolute favorite activity is spending time in her craft room. Evy has found her favorite scrapbooking medium is the Traveler’s Notebook. She explains, “after many attempts I realized my favorite format is the travelers notebook and I love to remember my days using a clean but colorful style and using a lot of stamps. I am honored to be part of the design team because Cocoa Daisy was the first company I discovered when I tried to understand my style and that made me discover memory keeping in a Traveler’s Notebook.”
Thanks for spending time with us today. We look forward to seeing your stamping designs and ideas!
XO,
Robin
