November Planner Setup – Time to Focus on Gratitude…

Hi lovely people!

It’s Rachel here, and I’m excited to share my November planner set up with you. I’ve LOVED using Autumn Whimsy for October, and was almost, almost regretting having to move on – but you guys, the colours and the textures and the possibilities that are within the November collections are almost TOO much fun to play with, and I’ve thoroughly loved trying things out.

Be sure to check out my YouTube channel with a full flipthrough of my planner set up. I’m going to share a few of my favourite things in this post!

I have really enjoyed using the Simon stickers that came in the Planner Classified Kit throughout my planner (which is a gorgeous binder from Foxy Fix)- I knew that if I didn’t do it, I was going to hoard them! Here, adding Simon in his green shirt just added another little touch of fun to the reverse side of my mood tracker.

I used the printable tracker that you can download on the store to create my mood tracker this month. Instead of printing the personal size though (because it comes in ALLLL the sizes!) I printed the mini dori size, then mounted it onto the beautiful foiled vellum. I also added some watercolour highlights, in the Prima Marketing Shimmering Lights palette, to add some extra shimmer and shine.

I’ve used a mood tracker since January 2018, and I find it useful to see where I need to be a little more mindful about how I’m doing. And this month there was the perfect die cut for it – ‘currently feeling’! I had to add a little bit of Simon to make me smile even if it’s a rubbish day!

This month, I decided to stamp the back of my divider tabs – I love this font and how it looks. The stamp set came in the April 2018 Planner Kit.

I wanted to focus on the theme of ‘gratitude’ throughout my planner – right from the very start with this pocket decoration, using tags, stickers and die cuts.

I also made a ‘today’ marker which is both functional and will be a visual prompt to be thankful. I laminated this, and love how it came out!

My plan is to write something every day on the sticky notes that came with the Pocket Memory Keeping Kit, and then to keep those as a summary of the week.

I decided that I’m going to keep my B6 Dori for longhand journaling this month, rather than dating it and using it as a daily journal. I’ve been wanting somewhere to write more, and so this seemed a perfect option. Here’s the cover I created with some of the papers and kit contents – you can also find a video on my channel about how I go about covering the dori booklets.

With my dori being undated, I wanted to still have somewhere to jot down things that happened on specific days – so I set up the week on two pages from the planner kit for this. I had fun experimenting with several different ways of adding the day and date – here are a couple of my favourites!

I also had a play with embossing powder for the first time in my planner! I LOVE how these little sparkly leaves came out. They’re so shimmery!

Ahhhhhh sparkles……

I had a couple of requests to share how I make my sticker folders so I have filmed that as well – find it on my channel here. I love that reminder to ‘live life in colour’!

I hope you enjoyed this tour through some of my favourite spots in my planner for November – I wonder what yours is?

Until next time, take care lovely people – and don’t forget to check out the full video!
