Hi everyone this is Sabrina with the pocket memory keeping team. Today I wanted to share with you some projects that feature the pocket kit and diecuts for October.
Every month the pocket memory keeper kits come with so much variety in the journaling cards and they are even double sided. So the possibilities are a lot! The pocket memory kit also comes with a whole pack of diecuts which I just love.
For my project I decided to document my September bike rides last year and how I was seeing the first signs of fall. I also included a 4 x 6 photo on the right and decided to stack some diecuts along the right hand side of the page. I added in some orange since the theme of this page was seeing signs of fall and I also layered in 2 6 x 8 papers behind the photo.
I had two photos that were screenshots of my bike rides so I used the brown journaling card to put one of the bike rides on and on the back I put the second bike ride. I then used a piece of the orange paper to make a tag and it also serves as a pull out tab so I know that there is something behind the main photo.
The finishing touches were the puffy stickers which added some great dimension and also the pocket memory keeping sticker phrases. The kit allows me to include a variety of different types of embellishments. I used diecuts, stickers, puffy stickers, journaling cards and papers all from the kit. This was a fun spread to bring together.
My fellow creative team member Moon also put together a pocket page. I love how Moon made several different spots with layers of diecuts. She created a lot of visual interest and movement by adding in lots of diecuts and layering them. Her pocket page perfectly captures her wonderful trip.
Moon also said this about her page, “I had a lots of fun decorating the journaling cards with the die-cuts. All I did was to pick up some cards and embellishments based on the color combo of green and orange. This is such an easy way to document my trip with my parents. We really took lots of photos!”
We both had a lot of fun playing with the pocket memory keeping kit for October and I hope these ideas get you inspired to create with your October cocoa daisy kit. Thank you for reading!
