Welcome to TN Tuesday and this week’s theme, Book Club Reading Goals! Let’s get right to it and have a look at Sabrina’s lovely design.
Sabrina notes, “for my book travelers notebook spread I decided to document how I love to read at night. And I used The Stamp Spot pocket notebook to create this because I knew I could add in a journaling card. I was able to pull together the browns, greens and a little bit of pink from various pieces of the kits. I also had fun with the front of the journaling card and adding some rubber ons to the front plus a title with the puffy stickers.”
“I had a lot of fun bringing together many different pieces including diecuts, chipboard, enamel dots, planner stickers, and stamped phrases.”
“I did some layering in this top section. I loved the soft green coloring in this journaling card and matted it behind the text paper. I also added in a few stamp phrases and a cluster of diecuts and enamel dots.”
Sabrina’s design is absolutely adorable and I love the way she incorporated some of the journal cards.
I decided to take a trip down memory lane and document my little boy’s reading goals with Teddy Ruxpin.
I wanted to use oxide ink and some distress sprays in my design to give my neutral palette some shine and sparkle. And I am so proud to say I finally used my We R Memory Keepers typewriter to document this memory on the large kit tag. The patterned paper that frames this page compliments the typewriter font on the tag.
I loved the idea of letting the extra letters I cut and inked run down the page unstructured. It brings back the memories of my little boy tumbling out of bed in the mornings with Teddy and Grubby.
And of course I needed to add white texture paste on my white background.
A few rub on hearts and die cuts completed my design. I love the end result and I hope this kit inspires you to document past memories too!
Thanks for stopping by!
XO,
Robin & Sabrina
