Tn Tuesday – 12×12 to SimpleDori

Hello readers!

On this Tuesday, dedicated to tn, Kristine and I let ourselves be inspired by the 12×12 layouts to transform them into travelers notebook format.Kristine has obtained an incredible result, rich in details but with a clean and relaxing effect, I let you explain directly from her how she managed to have such a result!

I chose this 12×12 layout by Mandie Pierce because the bold circle and lettering really caught my eye.To translate this to a tn layout ,I chose a spread with a light pattern on one side and did my letter stamps on the white paper on the other side.

The foto is of my best friend and I on girls’ trip to Disneyworld several years ago ,and I thought it would be fun to stamp some of the treats we like to eat on our (many!) visits to Disney.

A bit of journaling around the edge of the circle,as with the original, completes the graphic nicely.

I have to be honest, this layout seems to have been born to be used in travelers notebooks, I have already saved these photos in my “inspiration” folder!

Like Kristine, I also searched for a layout on the web. I found so many wonderful ideas and projects but in the end my choice went to this layout published on inkiequill because it represents my geometric style.

I thought of it as a 4 square layout (3 photos with different date and colors)with a single title.

I loved playing with three-dimensional effects, creating pockets and relief effects using post it, die cuts and the title!

If you like it on my youtube channel you will find all the details of the project but I warn you, it’s in Italian.

I hope our fun in making these layouts has arrived and above all the demonstration that in travelers notebooks everything is possible!

Kisses,

Kristine and Evy
