Hello, Planner Friends! It’s Rachel and I am up on the blog sharing a Plan With Me and a flip through of probably my favorite element in the Planner Kit this month – the sticker book!!! Let’s start with the sticker book, shall we?
Every month I find myself trying to find a functional sticker storage system, one that will remind me what stickers I have and which kit they came from so that I can get a sense of which sticker sheets I’m using a lot and which ones I need to pay more attention to. My goal is to use as many of the stickers as possible – no sticker hoarding here!
Enter this sticker book! I was able to fit all of my sticker sheets in this book and organize them by which kit they came in. I used the sticky notes from the Main Planner kit to label each section. For stickers that were too big, I simply trimmed them in half and put the stickers sheets back to back in the sticker book. I was also able to place the memory keeping stamps in the front pocket, which will remind me to use them!. Now, no matter what planner I’m working in, I can reach for this sticker book and have all my stickers in one place! Hooray!!
Okay, on to the Plan With Me! This month, I am testing out a new planner from WordsWorth Planner. This planner came to me at a perfect time, as I have wanted to more structure throughout my day and establish better routines during the week. In our new home, I have taken on the role of full-time “life facilitator” for my husband and I, so establishing routines is really important! Before planning this week, I added all of the “Clean”, “Meal Plan” and “Groceries” stickers from the Main Planner Kit to each week of the month. I sometimes forget to use these stickers, but discovered how helpful they for planning out when these task will happen during the week. And they fit so well in this planner I had to use them!
To plan this week, I pulled out my sticker book and grabbed the Sticker Kit and the washi from the Planner Add-on and Planner Classified kits. My week is perfectly split up with Monday – Wednesday at home and Thursday – Sunday out of town, so I wanted to visually reflect this on my planner pages. I decided to use one of the printable pages to cover the daily to-do section on the right page. I plan to use this for writing down a few highlights from my weekend at the Schaumburg Wandering Planners Event. The hexagons were used to mark of the events for Friday and Saturday. For Sunday, I placed a strip of washi down and over it I used a box sticker, turned on its side.
There are four areas of my life I’m trying create a schedule around: cleaning, fitness, food, and creativity. With two extended international trips, and I big move, I have had very little consistency with any of these, so I am hoping my planner can get me back on track! I’m using the bottom section to track my social media post, workouts and food logging (written down in my B6 Dori insert). I used some washi to give this section a punch of color, which also helped to identify a color scheme for this layout. I love that from a distance the vegetable washi looks like flowers!
For meal planning, I trimmed and added the days of the week sticker and place on the side bar. I love the clear water color stickers to act as a highlight for when I plan to work on creative projects. And those banner stickers are perfect for marking my morning routine and gym time.
I hope you enjoy a look at how I utilized the sticker book and planned for next week. I have a full flip-through of the sticker book and plan with me up on my YouTube Channel, if you would like to check it. Until next time!
