Sketch Challenge with Christine’s Farmer’s Market Sketch

I love how the monthly sketches make layouts so easy and are perfect when you’re in a creative rut.

I followed the sketch to a T and loved how simple this layout turned out. For the right side, I put down pattern paper from last month’s kit. Afterwards, I put down the RIGHT NOW title using some big bold black alpha stickers that I had in my stash and put the off the edge of the page. Then, I added a photo and a label die cut which I stamped the date on.

On the left side, I used this pretty blue pattern paper and then put down the journaling I typed up and printed and pasted to the middle/bottom section of the page.

Let’s take a look at Odessa’s layout and what she has to say about it.

“I always love the sketches that come with the Traveler’s Notebook kits and this month was no exception! I was really inspired by the neutrals and textures in the kit along with a pair of summery photos.

I layered a couple of the rectangular Memory Keeping stickers under the photos for a background. Under that I placed a simple die cut label that I wrote Right Now on instead of putting it on the edge of the paper. I put a little tab for cut on the edge instead with some phrase stickers

On the other side, instead of journaling, I answered the right now with various die cuts, stickers, and alpha stickers on one of the lovely pattern paper.”

Moon writes, “Here is my take. I used the sketch for my 12×12 layout and I love it. I picked up some die-cuts from the Memory Pocket Kit to decorate my page. Also, I love the foam stickers as the title.”

I can’t wait to see how your pages turn out  don’t forget to share it on the Cocoa Daisy Facebook Groups
