Hey there Daisies! It’s Kylie back with you on the blog and today I am sharing with you my August planner set up. The theme for August is “Farmers Market”. Lots of pretty wood grain, gingham and stripe backgrounds, with a fresh food theme for the die cuts and stickers. August is exciting for me as I am moving back into an A5 size. I have always preferred an A5 but do like to experiment with smaller sizes.I’ve been using a personal size now for 12 months so it is nice to be back into a larger size. I thoroughly enjoy ‘creative’ planning as well as functional so the bigger pages allows me to spread out and fill them up.
With the lovely colour theme for August I have decided to use my Websters Planner in ‘Mint’. It seemed to match really well…
As much as I loved the dividers that were in the Dividers subscription for August, I decided to make my own from the stunning array of papers. I have actually combined papers from both the Planning and Memory Keeping subscriptions. The cute red truck I fussy cut from an existing divider and added it to the gingham paper with foam tape so it sat up a little, looking multi dimensional.
Some of the tabs from the die cuts were added to the various different sections of my planner.I have added some labels which I just printed and cut out.I liked that they were a nice bold text.
I adored the red gingham vellum for August. It had a metallic finish thus making it super shiny. I added a paper doily from my craft stash along with some of the printables and die cuts. How cute is Farmer Simon?? I have a feeling I will be printing him numerous times to add throughout the month to come.
For my tabbed dividers I kept them pretty simple. I cut some alpha letters with a punch board and created a title for each one, intermixing the beautiful papers.I outlined each letter with a fine tip felt pen to help make sure they stand out.
Here is a little look at my monthly pages before the pen. I’ve added some of the pretty washi tape as a border in some places and even though these pages come with the date printed on each box, I have added some of the number stickers for extra colour.
Do you play along with the Cocoa Daisy planner challenge?? It’s a fun way to be inspired and to inspire others with your planner. I’ve printed off the A5 prompt sheet from the website and added it to the back of my monthly pages for reference. It’s handy to have in your planner for checking off the daily prompts. You can join in as often or as little as you like, sharing the hashtag #cocoadaisyplannerchallenge on Instagram.Don’t forget to add it to the Cocoa Daisy Facebook Group here- https://www.facebook.com/groups/CocoaDaisyPlannerFans/
I’ve gone through and added my dates to the weekly pages. This month I have used the number stamp from a few months ago. The washi tape for August has again been added as borders and for extra pops of colour.
One last little favourite I will share today is the printed acetate. It features a fun chicken wire design and I have cut it down to page size as a decorative divider. It looks so cool!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today and for seeing some of my August set up.
Happy Planning!
