Stand Out Titles

Hello, lovely Daisies! I’m here today with Odessa & Kylie sharing some ideas on how to add a big bold title to your layouts. I love a simple and clean look so I’m all about adding big bold titles that catches the eye!

First, let’s talk about Kylie’s beautiful, fun spread. Kylie writes, “My oversized title has been created with an Alpha Punch Board and using some of the exclusive papers. I’ve added a border to each letter with a fine tip pen to help the lettering stand out from my page. Some of the rub ons and die cuts have been added as well to balance my design.”

Next, Odessa shares, “I love the transparency that came with the planner kit so I decided to incorporate it into my Traveler’s Notebook. I cut out the word July from a Memory Keeping journal card and did some simple embellishing with stickers for a bold title page. On the other side I made a grid of 2×2 photos from a fun morning out with the kids for doughnuts with some more simple embellishments.”

I decided to go through all the large die cuts to find the perfect one to go with my page. I love how the colors of the die cuts of “Let’s Wander” and “roam” are both red because it matches my dress in the picture and red always reminds me of Disneyland, where this picture was taken. I put down the big bold title above the picture and did a little bit of journaling below it. On the opposite side, I decided to use one of the 3×4 cards to bring the layout together for a finished look. Big bold titles are a way to go if you are feeling a bit stuck or don’t know how to start a page because it’s fun and easy and takes up a lot of space.

I can’t wait to see your take on this! Don’t forget to share it with us over on the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping FB Group or on Instagram.

I’m Candy and you can catch me on Instagram to follow my creative progress and to see what else I’ve been creating lately.
