As we say good-bye to June, we wanted to recognize our Lemon Grove guest designers, Diane Williams and Anna Morrison. Today they are sharing some fun things about themselves with us along with their designs. We really enjoyed having Anna and Diane on the team and are inspired by what their creativity!
Anna has been scrapbooking since she was 13 and enjoys arranging pretty patterned paper in her designs after her baby boy goes to sleep. She unwinds with small craft projects or organizing her supplies and refers to her intense relationship with cookies as healthy because, “after all a balanced diet is a cookie in each hand!” Anna’s first job was at Scrapbooks and Cravings, a local craft store that satisfied the need for patterned paper and ice cream. Sounds like the dreamiest of jobs!
Anna created a beautiful shadow box and lovely planner pages with her kits.
The shadow box and the planner pages are very different projects which showcase the beauty of mixing planner and memory keeping kit items in your creative projects. We really enjoyed seeing Anna’s unique Lemon Grove designs.
Next we are sharing some fun facts about Diane. She likes to get up super early and work at her desk while sipping coffee as the rest of the world wakes up. Long walks with her dog Lily help Diane relax and so does her serious addiction to “The Real Housewives.” If Diane could be an actress she would choose Melissa McCarthy and noted, “Melissa is hilarious and SO good at physical comedy,” which is what Diane would want her very own movie to be filled with. And if her life was a novel, the title would be, ” Paper, Puppies, and a Latte Please.” How adorable is that!?!
Diane created a number of designs with the Lemon Grove kits and we are sharing a couple of her Traveler’s Notebook layouts with you today.
We really appreciate Diane’s use of color and admire the way she used patterned paper from the Lemon Grove kits to create stitched circles. You can see more of Diane’s designs on our Lemon Grove Pinterest board.
