Hello everyone! Jil here, along with Ria and Evy, to celebrate all the great stamps in recent Cocoa Daisy kits. To jump right in, here’s an art journal page by Ria that draws on the Paper and Ink stamps as well as last month’s Lemon Grove sets.

Ria brightens up her blank page with a lovely patchwork pattern that draws the eye to her words. The versatile alpha set from Lemon Grove with its awesome font takes center stage here, and Ria notes that the possibilities are endless with these stamps. With different words, colors, and stamp arrangement, the page could be customized in many ways.

And here is what Evy brings to the party–hand-stamped pattern paper! Isn’t it amazing?

Evy admits to an obsession with stamps (and I do, too!). We both find ourselves reaching for stamps for almost every layout, even if just to add a date or a small stamped detail. Here Evy pulls out all the stamps in the South Beach pocket kit to create a black and white background that is striking and impressive and easy to build on with color. She also incorporates rub-ons and two of the pocket cards here–so cool! Evy said she’s excited to experiment with a color version, too.

Keep in mind that you can draw on Evy’s inspiring stamping to create a pocket card or other smaller project, and of course it would also be fun to cut sections or details from the created sheet. Again, lots of possibilities!

I love the black and white with little touches of color. I can’t wait to try something like this with black and white stamping and color rub-ons or stickers.

My project uses stamps in a variety of ways, but I was especially interested in creating layering pieces with stamps.

The stamps in the South Beach pocket kit are perfect for documenting a road trip, as I do here. I loved repeating the little geotag throughout, creating a border with the wanderlust stamp, and especially making some tags to mix in with all the great die cuts in the kits.

My layered cluster features the big, round stamp from the memory keeping classified kit, too. I used the roller stamps from the planner kit (travel vibes) and the memory keeping kit (date stamp) on labels. I repeat stamped one of my favorites–“travelogue”–on a label for the glassine envelope that holds my journaling.

And here you can see how “travelogue” can be the heading for the story of any journey.
