Hello Daisy fans, today Kylie and I want to show you some of our ideas for using cut files with our memory keeping kits. First let take a look at Kylie travelers notebook design which is sweet and oh so elegant!
Kylie tells us, “I’ve created a fun ‘Beach’ theme layout in my TN capturing a day we spontaneously went to the beach. (In Winter!!)
I’ve combined a title cut file as well as a Palm Tree Cut file which have both been designed by Confessions Of A Paper Addict.(COAPA Cut Files).”
“Each cut file has been backed with some of the exclusive papers from the TN Memory Keeping kit. Behind my title I added some ink with a patterned stamp from my stash.”
Kylie’s design is adorable and her use of cut files and papers is always delightful and inspiring.
Like Kylie, I have beach shenanigans on my mind which I think means I need a real vacation soon. I’ve been working on vacation albums quite a bit this month and decided it was time to start putting some pages in my 6×8 pocket page album for our Mediterranean trip. Today I am sharing my cover page.
I chose this fun photo taken in Venice, the quote, and stamps from this month’s memory keeping kit. The patterned paper is from the planner kit. I added trails to the airplane stamps with hand stitching.
The “travel” cut file was layered (3) then watercolored. I cut the outline on a piece of white scrap paper and painted it with distress ink in layers. To finish it off I added an ephemera piece from the Classified Memory Keeping Kit.
I love that quote so much!
We hope you enjoyed seeing our designs with cut files and inspired you to document a vacation or staycation with your Cocoa Daisy kits!
XO,
Kylie and Robin
