Hi! Odessa here with some pocket page inspiration from Robin and myself. There is something so fun about filling up those pockets!
When I opened up the South Beach Memory Keeping kits I was in love! All that bold colour and warm weather vibes. Yesss! I sat down and put together a trio of pages around a recent family camping trip using the kits, here’s one of them.
There are some really great embellishments in the kits! It was so easy to put together some layouts and really have fun. I used lots of alpha stickers in bright colours across my page for some punchy text. I also sprinkled pops of pink across to balance out the flamingo in the corner. I was so excited about the roller stamp in the Planner Kit that I had to use it on a label sticker on the page. It has a heart icon!
This flamingo card might just have been my favourite, I had to include it! It’s the cutest.
Robin used the Lemon Grove kits on her celebratory page. She says:
“I created this design to honor my dad’s 80th birthday in the album I introduced in yesterday’s post. For this design I used the Lemon Grove kits and a pocket card from the South Beach kit. I cut out my numbers on my Silhouette using scrap paper. I made four sets. Then I cut the top pattern paper layer and glued them all together to create a bit of height in my design. The quote card is from the “refer a friend” card that came in the South Beach kits. I love that everything in your box can be used in some way for your documentation. I removed all of the layers of the chipboard piece on my dad’s photo. I like that it still has a bit of height. I backed the circle cut out with the puffy letters with a sticker from the Lemon Grove sticker sub and I backed the whole thing with a bit of scrap paper. This design took awhile to pull together because I wanted it to be reflective of my dad and all that he did for us as a single parent raising 4 kids. My video has more details and a bit more discussion about my dad if interested.”
The dimensional numbers are so perfect in the middle of the page, especially with the high contrast in the papers Robin chose!
There are so many great details on this page – check out the video below to learn more about how it came together.
