Hello my fellow Daises!
Lisa here showing off the dashboards I made this month with the fabulous Picket Fences kit for May. This kit was by far one of my all time favorites and I couldn’t get enough of it. There were so many amazing elements to use and with some things in my stash, I had so much fun putting these together.
First up is my front cover. I loved this 4″ x 6″ pocket sized card that came in the Pocket Memory kit. I use A6 Rings and the larger cards that come in the kit are just a tad too narrow. I usually just add a small border and punch but there were papers that matched the stripes and I just cut a strip to add on and you can’t even tell! Looks like it’s all one piece! I used a sticker from the Memory Keeping sticker kit that was the perfect size for the octagon center and I love this quote so much!! I pulled all the green butterflies from the Memory keeping Classified kit along with some of the enamel dots to add a bit of dimension. The Pom Pom border is left over from another kit and the color just tied in so well for this kit. I finished it off with a tab and notes sticker.
Next up is one I made with another pocket card. I can’t remember which kit this particular one came from bit I had to use it as a dashboard!
I trimmed it down just a bit and added a punched border then adhered to a piece of white yardstick cut to size. I used more of the butterflies that were in the Classified Memory Keeping kit along with some gems from my stash, a sticke4r from the sticker sheet that was included in the Classified Memory kit, added a tab and another on is done!
My May Goals Dashboard was fun to make! I used one of the papers from the kits and cut it to size. I used one of the notepad sheets for the main art work. I was so obsessed with the notepad this month! Absolutely a favorite and it was fun seeing how my team mates used the note pad in their projects. Definitely perfect for more than just notes!
I used stickers from the sheet included in the Classified Memory Kit and punched some butterflies out of vellum to make the main focal point. The enamel letter stickers were from my stash and the “GOALS” stickers are the alphas included in the planner Add-On kit. The Planner Add on kit is always one of my favorites…. gives you just the right amount to use with the main planner kit to add that extra touch. Add on of the hydrangea tabs to blend in with the May sticker, Pom Pom trim from my stash for the border and another one down! Most of these this month were put together in very little time!
This next one was another fun one to make! I used one of the papers and trimmed it to size. I also used one of the pocket cards that says “Stop and smell the flowers” that I trimmed down a bit. Next I used my trusty Martha Stewart hydrangea punches that I’ve had forever and a day and punched out a bunch of the flowers in different sizes from a few of the papers. I then adhered them randomly over the main paper, added a few flower gems from my stash and a tab to finish it off. I just love how it looks with the different patterned paper flowers!
This next one was a total accident! I used this piece of paper to punch out the flowers for the dashboard above and the papers are double sided so on the back was this striped paper. I sat it on top of the purple paper just to get it out of the way and thought “Oh wow that looks great!!” so I adhered them together so the purple shows through the cutouts and trimmed to size. Added one of the die cuts in the center and a punched out flower. I found some flat pearls in my stash and added to the flowers for the centers and a tab on the top to finish it off. I love it when happy accidents turn into something beautiful!!
Last but not least I made a basic diagonal washi dashboard using that gorgeous hydrangea washi that came in the planner kit. I paired it with other washi to give a little variety and I love how they compliment each other. I used another pocket card trimmed down to fit behind this frame die cut I had in my stash and added a tab to finish! Fast and fabulous!!
Hope this look at my dashboards helps with inspiration and even though a couple look complicated none of them are! With CocoaDaisy’s amazing products and a few things from your stash you can put together amazing dashboards in no time!
Farewell until next time!
