It’s Kylie with you again today and I am sharing my very first TN layout featuring the June, Lemon Grove TN Memory Keeping kit. I am SO, SO in love with this kit and it’s beautiful colour theme. It’s almost Winter time here in Australia, so it’s lovely to have the Summery vibe of my Cocoa Daisy kits. As soon as they arrived I wasted no time at diving in and getting started filling my Traveler’s Notebook pages. My first layout as you will see has a lovely ‘Lemon & Blue’ theme.
I decided to add a lovely ‘Heart’ cut file to my coloured background. This was designed by The Cut Shoppe, and I was able to back it with lots of the different papers from my kit.I adhered it to my page with double sided tape as I find glue tends to buckle my pages a little.
For my opposite page I cut a few strips of paper at various widths to use as a border on my page. Before I adhered them into place I added some machine stitching to them, so they had some texture. They were positioned on my page at different lengths and overlapping each other a little.
I decided on printing my photo in black and white so that the colours of my pages really ‘pop’ and in turn help draw your eye to my photo. I’ve layered one of the flower die cuts with one of the ‘Sunshine’ rubber flairs to one corner.
I finished my layout with some of the phrase die cuts as well as typing out one of my own. Nothing was adhered straight as I like the effect of it being uneven.
So in love with this colour theme!! Have I mentioned that already??….Maybe only 100 times. I filmed an unboxing video this month when my kit arrived. If you would like to see more of the Cocoa Daisy kits for June you can watch it here:-
