Hello Daisies! Lisa here bringing you some gorgeous Springy cards I made using the papers and washi from the Planner kit. I wanted to make a matching set to give to a friend so I used a lot of complimentary prints and colors to make it all come together. All of these are very easy to make. I used white cardstock, dies and a few elements from my stash to make these beauties.
First up is a super duper easy one that you can make when time is short. I used white card stock as the base. The patterned paper was one of the papers from the Memory Keeping Pocket kit and all I did was cut it down to size, mat it on a slightly larger white piece of card stock and mount it to the white card. I die cut an oval and adhered a die cut sentiment to the oval, then adhered it to the prepped card. A beautiful stamped sentiment would look lovely also. The finishing touch is to wrap a ribbon around the front layer and viola you are done. A beautiful card in just a few minutes!
Next up is probably my most favorite out of the bunch and it is super easy too! I just die cut several different sized circles from papers found in the kits and arranged them on a white card stock base. After I adhered them I layered a nice die cut sentiment and stamped image layered on a complementary paper and there you have a super simple but gorgeous card! To give a little extra effect I die cut the sentiment twice, once in white and once in pink and layered it slightly off to give a shadow effect. If you have circle punches that would work too! If you don’t have dies or punches you could find several different circle sized objects such as pill bottles, cups/glasses, tins etc and trace and cut. Easy Peasy!! Before sentiment die cuts were a thing I used to print out fonts in the colors I wanted and hand cut them. The sky is the limit with this type of card! You could even use different shaped to change it up!
This card is a favorite too!! I used a few more supplies on this one to get the effect I wanted. I used an embossing folder in my stash to emboss the background and mounted it on a white card. Other die cut elements are the frame, the “HELLO” and the label. I used several scrap pieces of paper from the kits to punch out the butterflies and adhered them to the card after adhering the frame and “HELLO”die cuts. I used the alpha stickers from the Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to spell out friend. I love these sticker sheets as they are the right size for these small projects. For the finishing touch I used some of the pink dots that were left over from last months kit!
This card was a fun one to do! I cut a panel of white card stock and used the two Cherry blossom washi’s with other complimentary washi’s layered on the panel in a pleasing pattern. I used a lace doily cut and layered for some dimension at the bottom and adhered the washi panel to the card. I used a die cut leaf for more dimension but it would still look amazing without it! I die cut an oval and layered a die cut sentiment on top. Again a stamped sentiment would look just as amazing! Lastly I added one of the flower die cuts from the kit and a couple of the little flower stickers to tie in all the blooms. Lastly I glued a small piece of crocheted ribbon to the bottom of the panel and there you have a gorgeous patterned piece of paper made with washi! I love using this method for dashboards also. It’s so fun to do!
This card is another easy one to do! I cut a panel of my most favorite paper from the Memory keeping kit and adhered it to a white card. I added a small piece of washi from the planner kit to the top just for a little something extra. For the die cut panel I layered a small piece of the vellum that was in the Planner Classified kit to the bottom then layered card stock and washi strips to the panel. I die cit the panel with this particular shape but any shape will do. I used the pink Alphas out of the Memory Keeping Pocket kit to spell out “HELLO” and layered a die cut “Hello” underneath it so you have Hello, Hello. Anyone else starting to sing Hello Goodbye from the Beatles besides me???
With that thought I am saying goodbye and not Hello Hello!!
I hope you have a great Day!!
Lisa
