Greetings Cocoa Daisy fans,
Today on the blog design team members Odessa Neudorf and Moon Lee are sharing their interpretation of the Picket Fence traveler’s notebook kit sketch.
The first design I want to share with you is this darling layout by Moon.
I love they way Moon makes clusters in her designs and her eye for bringing kit items together. Moon loves all the patterned papers in the Picket Fence kits including the papers in the planner kit. She mixed and matched various items from the planner, traveler’s notebook, and pocket kits in her layout. I especially love the way Moon used the vellum hearts and enamel dots to highlight her photo.
One of the cute aspects of this design is the tabbed fold out for additional photos. It’s a darling addition and makes Moon’s take on the Picket Fence sketch unique.
Odessa chose photos from a trip to the zoo for this layout and used the circular number stickers from the Memory Keeping Sticker add-on to number them. She used puffy stickers to create the title and a bit of the word washi tape underneath. The title is finished off with a cute little chipboard circle.
Next Odessa added a handwritten list of her photos and finished off the page with a sticker border and embellishments from the Memory Keeping Pocket kit. Odessa’s handwritten list is special and is one of the aspects that makes her design distinctive.
I love that cute little vellum flower with die cut from the pocket memory keeping kit Odessa used to create the little cluster at the bottom of her list. The vellum ephemera in the Picket Fence memory keeping kits are seriously beautiful and I am enjoying seeing how our DT and Cocoa Daisy fans are using them in their designs.
We hope you found inspiration in the DT’s versions of the traveler’s notebook Picket Fence sketch and we look forward to seeing what you create.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Robin, Moon, and Odessa
