Memory Keeping in the SimpleDori.

Hello everyone!

It’s Kylie here with you and today Estelle and I are sharing with you some pages in our SimpleDori’s. I love memory keeping on a smaller scale, and with the SimpleDori creating beautiful pages is so easy & quick to do.

Did you know there is a subscription for the SimpleDori in a kit?? You can check out details HERE-

To begin, let’s see some of Estelle’s lovely pages. In her own words she says:

“The warm colors of autumn are very inspiring for me. I take a lot of photos. The SimpleDori is perfect to put together all memories and Scrap them quickly and easily.”

Next I will share some of my pages using my October SimpleDori. I combined lots of elements from past kits (including my planner kits) as well as goodies from the September 12 x 12 and Pocket Memory Keeping kits.

I always love to decorate my cover each month including some of the Alpha stickers.I also stapled some twine to both the front and back covers so I could tie it all together. The flower and leaves on the front cover were made from the exclusive papers using some dies from my stash.

I still love using cut files in my SimpleDori and found this cute sun via the Silhouette Store. I love how it looks layered over my photo. A while ago I invested in some Alpha Dies made by Kaisercraft and I now use them all the time for adding text to my projects. It’s great because by using the exclusive papers everything will co-ordinate.

Using a larger sized photo creates a fun effect as well.I have folded it to fit through the centre crease of my booklet.Again I have layered over a heading and included some stamping also.

These next pages, I have added some photos layered over each other so they can be flipped up. You may of seen Christine’s little video on her Instagram featuring this technique. It’s such a fun inclusion to have and a great way to incorporate multiple photos. I’ve attached mine with washi tape from a previous kit and have added some tabs to each photo at the base. I was able to include 5 photos to the one page using this technique.

I love being able to add lots of different embellishments to my Dori pages. I created some tags for this next page and used some text stickers from a past kit as well.

The striped exclusive paper was perfect for my Tiger photo. I just added in some black free hand lines for effect!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing our pages today and you consider trying a SimpleDori for your own creativity too!

Until next time,

Kylie.
