Hi Daisies! Its Kylie here with you today and I wanted to share a layout I created recently whilst I have been waiting for my lovely September kits to arrive. Most months I keep every last little piece of paper, sticker or die cuts. I enjoy then months later coming back and scrapping with all my leftovers, combining as many elements as I can to maximise the use of all my kits! Here is a little look at the layout I created using nothing more that a few left over strips of paper and die cuts.
I really wanted to focus my layout on some fringed border pieces. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut these out but you could also try these by cutting them with your scissors or I have seen before special ‘fringe’ scissors which have multiple blades.
Some of the papers I have used go back to kits 12 months ago or more.I really enjoy being able to pick a colour theme or pattern theme to co-ordinate from past kits.I’ve used multiple papers behind my photo and distressed the edges a little for texture.
I also found some left over epoxy stickers in my stash which were a perfect colour match too!
Whilst it may look like I’ve used lots of paper in my layout the truth is these are just narrow left over strips layered together!
I’ve also filmed a process video for this layout, which shares more tips and tricks for how I brought everything together.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my post today.Don’t forget to join the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping Facebook group HERE for even more inspiration.
Take care,
