Who is participating in One Book July this year? (Looking for the background on this challenge? Here is one of the founder’s take https://www.carieharling.com/one-book-july-2017-introduction/ And here is my take using a gorgeous Daisy Dori B6 size. Inside this Dori I have combined planning, memory keeping, listing and faith planner all in one booklet.
First thing I do when I get my Cocoa Daisy box is divide up all the die cuts, tabs, stickers and planner pages. For this month, I decided to use the personal ringed unpunched planner pages for planning. I set up the weeks in advance with number stickers and few foundation stickers.
On the Dori pages, I used the tabs to stamp the week number as it correlates with the week numbers for my project life album. This serves as the foundation for me memory keeping journal entries. I love recording everyday moments of life in real time but never seem to make it into my album. By adding the week numbers, I can go back to my dori as reference when I complete my project life albums.
Faith planning interests me but I always thought I needed a separate insert or planner to record my faith journey. Guess what? When I made it more difficult than it needed to be, it never got done. This month I used the dori dot grid week pages to document scriptures and notes on the scriptures as well as creating a prayer log within the same dori.
This challenge reminds me to return to simplicity. Simplicity has always been the key for me!
