Hey crafty ones!
May’s kit is amazing, am I right or am I right?! A typewriter sequel kit was my dream come true since I didn’t get the past kit featuring typewriters. May’s kit is filled with typewriters, birds, cute phrases, vibrant colors, PenGem die cuts, adorable washi tape, cute and functional sticky notes, and so much more! Now, I am not a huge bird fan. In fact, I have a pretty big fear of birds but these graphics won my heart.
Who knew typewriters even paired well with birds?! In this dashboard I used bits and pieces from the April memory keeping pocket kit and the typewriter paper is the 12×12 paper cut down.
I was so nervous to cut this acetate since it is so gorgeous and I didn’t want to mess it up! I decided on cutting the pencils for a dashboard and the rest of it was a little too short for another dashboard. Instead, I used it as a bookmark and stuck some sticky notes on it for quick note-taking.
The pockets in my planner are half functional and half decoration, it is what works for me. In largest pocket, I fit the planner stickers that way I can use them while on the go. In the smaller pockets, I added the Simon card from the classified kit, some of the pencil and pen die cuts, typewrite die cut, and some cards from April’s memory keeping pocket kit. I also add samples of washi to one of the package cards to slip into the pockets!
I have been cutting down the personal sized Daisy Dori to fit into my personal rings, this has been working out really well for me!
I am able to fit four days which doesn’t really bother me since I am more of a daily planner. This month I am trying a little flip out and even incorporated the new sticker’s to it, to jot down important notes for the week.
This is my last month receiving the A5 pages but still wanted to use them so I cut them down and am using them for school due dates since it helps to see it all within the week.
And then, you can’t forget the charms! Of course the typewriter charm is hanging on the outside paired with the paperclip topper converted to a charm.
That’s all I have “bird nerd’s”! Have fun crafting.
