I just love getting a new Cocoa Daisy Kit at my door. The yellow polka dot box, the tiny bags with their stickers, the tissue – it’s like getting a present in the mail! Today’s post is all about projects made using the packaging that is just too pretty to toss!
I incorporated some of the packaging in this pocket page layout I made. I used one of the glassine bags kit components are packaged in and cut it down to just under 3×4. I then also cut down the new polka dot bag from the 12×12 kit and used that to back the bag and then filled it with sequins from the 12×12 kit! Subtle sparkle. I added a date die cut on top so I could use it as my week card in my layout. Inspired by the colour of the sequins I got busy making the rest of the layout. That Shine Bright kit card with Christine’s message about the kit on the back was too pretty not to include!

Kyle used the lovely paper bags as a cover for her February Standard Dori. It’s just adorable with Simon and Betty in front of the info card from the February kits. Adorable!
Katherine took the yellow dots from the bag that the 12×12 kit comes in and ran with it (and used that butterfly which might be my favourite!). I love how she painted the alphas to match the layout. She says “I’ve never documented the Cocoa Daisy story. As soon as I saw the new polka dot bag I wanted to do a layout with the new design team picture. The February alphas didn’t match so I just painted them with black acrylic paint. The tag and trim are from my stash.”
Marie used the January Kits along with the cards that came with the kits to make some adorable cards! They’re so darling!
Celine thought outside the box and turned her box into a better box! I just love how she turned the iconic Cocoa Daisy box into an organizer for her supplies! She even added velcro to the box to make it close nicely. Just look at all those dividers! Major heart eyes! She says “Today I’m happy to have all my Cocoa Daisy materials in one box.”
