Hey crafty ones! Ariana here, also known as The Crafty Ways. I am super excited to be here and tell you a bit about me, my planning style, and more!
WHY I PLAN
I will start off with how and why I got into planning. I have always been pretty organized but I didn’t notice the whole planning community until I got into the scrapbooking community about 2 years ago. Scrapbooking came to me unexpectedly. My family and I had found out that my Grandma has dementia January 2016 which really got me thinking about the life we live, the stories we hold, and the experiences we have. I knew from there that I had to find a way of documenting so I started with Project Life. Then I fell down the rabbit hole and now have too many projects to count on my hands! Then I found the planner community and all of its glory; washi heaven, stickers galore, and all the pens and planners! I started off with bullet journaling which then morphed into a 3 ring and now I am comfortably in a travelers notebook or two.
I don’t only plan for functionality but also because of all the pretty things. It is especially easy to plan in the Daisy Dori’s with all the gorgeous artwork on every single page! I also love memory keeping in my travelers notebook, it is a lot less stressful than a 12×12 layout. My favorite thing to do is to make a mini books in travelers notebook. For example, if I want to document a weekend trip then I can easily fill my travelers notebook with polaroids, die cuts, stamps, ephemera, stickers, and most importantly journaling!
PLANNER PLANS
Lets move onto the most important stuff: my plans for Cocoa Daisy in the upcoming year!
I will be sticking to planning in the Standard Daisy Dori along with the mini which I will be using for habit tracking or social media planning, I haven’t decided yet. The standard Daisy Dori will be used for everyday planning such as apppointments, upcoming events, and journaling.
I will also be getting the A5 pages unpunched to add to my documenting. I got a memory keeping Happy Planner for 2018 and will be adding the A5 pages for extra space to document the upcoming year whether it be more pictures, doodling, or journaling about my one little word.
