Are you a card maker? I didn’t used to be. I struggled to make cards that I liked and looked at it as more of a task to get through rather than a creative process to enjoy. This past year, however, I have really found my card making groove. Part of that is due to the fabulous DITL cards from Cocoa Daisy that I find so easy to convert into card sentiments and part is due to my renewed interest in actually sending the cards. I am so loving the thought of brightening someone’s day with a bit of handmade happy mail. So, I guess what I’m saying is that if you’re not a card maker, maybe you should give it a try. You may find that there is a double bonus in both the creating and the giving of the cards.
Now we certainly have several on our design team who are amazing card makers. These first two are from Ashli who is always so clever with using her leftover paper scraps and making something lovely with them.
Then we have a pair from Lisa. I always love Lisa’s bold use of color and whimsical designs.
This one is from Anna who always adds an artistic element to all of her projects.
These next two from Katherine have a sweet homespun charm.
And these two from Suz have a lovely feminine touch with an outdoorsy theme.
And finally, I have six to share with you. I really went to town with all those pretty die cuts this month!
How about you? Do you have any cards to share? We’d love to see them!
