Hello and happy Thursday all! Suz back with you today to share the winner for this month’s sketch challenge (anddddd a bit later today a share of some of my Document December album).
The winner of the sketch challenge is…
…SHANNON!!
You are the winner! Please PM Lisa (aka @thefunkyfairy) that you have won this month’s challenge to obtain your GC info. 🙂
To refresh your memory, here is the sketch:
And this is Shannon’s lovely take on the sketch:
I love how she used the soft grey patterned paper as the backdrop against the pops of pinks (and limey green) in the circles and her sweet subject’s clothing. Just darling! Congrats to Shannon! Thanks for playing along this month Daisies!
On to my Document December album. I admittedly am not as far along as I had hoped to be, but given my travel time away from home, I feel I am off to a decent start.
Here is a bit of my progress so far:
COVER:
I will likely add the year with a gold rimmed circle tag or something of the like later. Here is my inside cover. I love that woodgrain patterned paper!
I chose to stamp a sentiment repeatedly onto the striped vellum paper for the intro to Day#1. (Right) On the left is my little December intention manifesto.
Day #2 Left Side
Day 2 Right side Here I used the exclusive “December” stamp.
Day#3
Love the exclusive geotags this month. I have used every one of them in my creating. (The rest were used on a Christmas card I need to get posted in the gallery. I used them in an out of the box kind of way with fun results!)
Part of Day #11 I used the alpha stickers from the BG Juniper Berry set as tabs for this hidden journaling card.
Day #12 Speech & Debate Judging | Christmas party
Memorabilia of gifts given:
Last page of album I cut down the “Dream Big paper from the main kit (I believe?) and added the year.
I have an amateur unedited video with a few thoughts about this project and a flip through of what I have completed so far. The file was too large, so I will post it back here once I find a more compact way to upload it!
I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s pages pop up in the gallery. Be sure to share! I love being inspired by each of you!
Happy Thursday!
