Sunshine & Sunflowers

Hello Planner Peeps!! Is it just me, or do you find yourself discovering a new passion for something whenever the Cocoa Daisy Planner theme comes out? Let’s say the June flamingos or July mermaids. Now, I buy a lot of stamps, and when my favorite stamp companies came out with either themes, I didn’t say, ooh, gotta have that flamingo stamp! No. But when the flamingo theme came out for Cocoa Daisy, I went flamingo crazy! I went out and bought a flamingo Travelers Notebook cover, a flamingo pen, tropical stickers, coordinating washi, and guess what. That same flamingo stamp I turned down before.

The same exact thing happened with last month’s gorgeous mermaid theme. And it wasn’t just me. I saw a lot of the same on social media. So I decided to add a new monthly prompt to the Planner Challenge to celebrate the monthly themes . This month, it was Day 3: Sunshine & Sunflowers.

The first thing I did was look for coordinating papers from previous kits to cover my booklets. For my Standard Dori, I covered it with one of the July papers and then cut out the sunflower and August title from the August dashboard. My second Standard Dori was covered with the yellow chevron paper from the June kit and the gorgeous sunflower paper from the July kit covered my A5 dot grid journal.

Then I decided to make a cover page for my bullet journal with sunflowers:

Then in preparation for another prompt this month, I created a monthly log with a sunflower. I really love how this turned out!

You can click on the link HERE where you can download your free challenge printable and as a bonus, I decided to include a page with a list of ideas for each of the daily prompts. 🙂

Hope your playing along this month. And remember, if you missed a prompt, you could always play catch up. Remember to use the hashtag #cocoadaisyplannerchallenge in your posts either on Instagram or our Planner Fans Facebook Group so we can easily find them!

See you soon, and Happy Plannin’!
