Want to “Bookmark” your place Cocoa Daisy Style?

Want to learn a fun way to “Bookmark” your place…Cocoa Daisy Style?

Well then go grab your favorite mug of coffee or tea and come sit a spell with me!

It’s so great to meet up with you again my friends, and as always I hope you’re inspired by some nugget of fun and able to use it in your own creative Planner or Journal!

Today I’m going to walk your through how I create Corner page markers!  So, let’s begin by gathering your favorite scrapbook papers, then choose the one that makes your heart smile!!

As you can see I’m using an Envelope punch board by We R Memory Keepers.  Cut your paper 6 X 6, for a card size envelope of 3 1/2 X 3 1/2

Score and Punch the corners!

Completely seal up the envelope!

Cut Corner to Corner!

Now take a few minutes to gather all your favorite ephemera, sticky notes, scrap paper, stickers, washi, tabs and sequins!

Here’s my “Mermaid” Corner Page Marker.  As you can see I put Washi along the bottom edge, and a tab marker at the top.  I cut out a mermaid from a weekly page! Oh,and can you see how I have shells coming off the page?  Don’t be afraid to create “out of the box”, it adds such creative dimension to your projects!  Now, I don’t know about you, but this Mermaid page marker makes me want to find the nearest ocean to search for mermaids in it’s depths and the lost city of Atlantis!  Want to join me?

Let’s walk along the sea shore and gather sea shells together, shall we? …with the ocean waters tickling our toes, and the winds dancing in our hair, we’ll have a great time together!  Here I cut sea shells from a dashboard and added a doily to the back of the page marker, I love the dimension it adds! I also added sequins for little pops of glitter and sunshine!

Here’s all three!  Which is your favorite?

OK friends, now it’s time for YOU to go have some of your own fun being creative, while letting your heart speak smiles through your hands!!  Be sure to “tag” me so I can see what you create!  I can’t wait to see!

Here’s an added gift before we have to say goodbye! (hugs)  2 Gift tags I created, I used dimensionals to give lift to some of the ephemera and made the tags from simple cut outs with the daily pages!  I hope you’re inspired!

Well …until next time my friends, have a creatively FUN plan-filled day!!  And remember…every day may not be a “good” day, but there is GOOD in every day!!

Laura, Laura, Laura! Thank you for sharing the behind-the-scenes magic of your pages. In addition to your overall aesthetic, I have enjoyed the varying levels of dimension in your designs. I’m going to have to adapt this slightly for use on a personal-sized tipin for my standard-sized TN because I am guilty of shoving my TN into my purse. 🙂 Thank you for the inspiration and blueprint!
