January Designer Challenge – HOPES & DREAMS FOR 2015

Hello Daisies!!

I’m hosting our first designers challenge of the year. I had a little think about this one. I do love a colour challenge and I love playing along with recipe challenges too, but I thought we’d go for something a little different.

As 2015 is still new to us and with all the talk of resolutions, word of the year and everything else that we want and hope to achieve in this new year, I thought….lets’ scrap about it.  It could be big dreams and wishes or it could be a basic ‘to-do’ list, your word of the year perhaps or your resolutions for this year if you have any.

I’ve gone with a basic to do list for my LO. Although if you were ask my husband he would say that it’s not very basic at all. Our word of the year is ‘do’. We have no vacation plans this year as we had a big Florida trip in October, but we have a home that is in desperate need of some TLC. So I have made a list of all the jobs that I would like to get done this year to make our home neater and cozier.

We’ve all used our Pajama Time January Kits on our LO’s. There are still a few left here if you are feeling tempted.

Martha has joined in with this challenge. I just LOVE her cool spin on this challenge. She’s made a memory keeper. This is what Martha says about her project.

Instead of making resolutions and goals this year, because we all know well we do with those(!), I decided that the first page in my 2015 layout album (I also have a PL album) would be this page. I used 12 vellum envelopes from my stash and embellished them with the Crate Paper rub-ons and then layered them on strips of pp from the kit. Throughout the year I can write down memories, accomplishments etc. tuck them in the envelopes and at the end of the year I think it will be fun to read everything that was written down. We are (hopefully) completing our second adoption this year so there will be lots of moments I don’t want to forget!

Remember This Memory Keeper

And next is Sharmaine with this fun 2015 LO. I think those positive words are something we could all do with remembering from time to time.

I hope we have inspired you today. We’d love to see lots of you playing along with us. Remember, you don’t have to have a Cocoa Daisy kit to play along.

Please add you link to your work here or on or MB here. You have until Tuesday 3rd February 11pm EST to play along and I will announce the winner on Thursday 5th February. The winner will receive a lovely $10 coupon to spend in the Daisy Store or towards an addon maybe.

Have lots of fun with this one. We can’t wait to see your creations.

Thank you so much for posting this challenge. It was just the inspiration I needed for my 2015 album cover page. I do not currently have any Cocoa Daisy items but I have been drooling over them lately and hope to grab some soon. I was glad to see that I did not have to use one of your kits to enter this challenge. You can see my project on my blog here:
